How do I get started with online banking?
Simply call 1300 652 220 and provide your customer number to register (your Customer Number can usually be found on the top right hand corner of your account statement). A temporary password will be provided.
You will need your Customer Number and temporary password to log in. You will then need to change your temporary password to a new password that is secure and easy to remember. Note: Your temporary password is only valid for 24 hours or until you use it to log in.
Two factor authentication - from 27 August 2024
From 27 August 2024 two factor authentication will be required every time you log in to online banking. You will receive an SMS authentication code on your registered mobile device, enter the code provided and access will be granted. If you do not receive the SMS code, or have an issue logging in, please call us on 1300 652 220.
I have forgotten my password
If you have forgotten your password you can easily request a new password by selecting ‘Forgotten Password’ link on the log in page. Add the details requested on the screen to set a new password. (You will receive an sms authentication code on your registered mobile number). If you do not receive the sms code, please call us at 1300 652 220
How do I change my password once I am logged in?
You can update your Online Banking password at any time. Simply log into your Online Banking account, navigate to ‘My Profile’ screen and select ‘Change Password’ button. (You will receive an sms authentication code on your registered mobile number. You can view your current mobile details in the ‘My Profile’ screen. If the number listed needs to be updated, please call us on 1300 652 220).
Password rules
To protect your security in the best possible way, we have put together some Password rules for you to follow when setting up or changing your Online Banking Password.
Your password:
- Is case sensitive.
- Must be at least 8 characters long.
- Must contain one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and any one of these special characters @ # $ % &
- Cannot be the same as your old password.
- Cannot use a hyphen or exclamation point.
- Cannot contain spaces.
For security purposes, if you enter the wrong Customer Number or Password three times your account access will be blocked. Please call us as we can easily reset you Password and unblock your access over the phone.
If you have forgotten your password, you can easily reset your password via the Forgotten Password link on the log in page.
Forgotten your Customer Number
Your Customer Number can usually be found on the top right-hand corner of your account statement. If you are unable to find your customer number please call us at 1300 652 220.
My login is suspended.
If incorrect login details are entered 3 times you will be unable to log into Online Banking. You can instead use the forgotten password link to rest your password. If your log in is suspended, please call 1300 652 220 and we will reset your login once we verify your details.
I get a message stating, ‘Invalid Customer Number and/or Password entered’.
Check that you have you entered the correct information. (In most cases your Customer Number can be found on the top right-hand corner of your account statement).
Note that for accounts in more than one name, each account holder has their own Customer Number. Only enter the numerical digits (don’t enter the account ledger i.e. YX01). Next ensure you enter your Password correctly, paying particular attention to capitals and numbers.
